Death is a traumatic experience, even when you feel you've had time to prepare for it if your loved one has had a progressive illness. After all the activity of the funeral, family and friends slowly drift back into their own lives, and, with the best of intentions, sometimes, begin to be embarrassed if you want to keep talking about your loved one, your experience and feelings.
There seems to be a tolerated time to grieve, and then
we must be brave and find a way to carry on without them
in our lives. Vacant Chair passes no judgements on how
you feel, or how long you may need to grieve. Here you
can write whatever you wish about the person who you miss
so much. Upload precious photographs and take all the
time you need to keep visiting them, and your memories.
Others can visit, and if you wish, even offer a comforting
word or a loving comment.
